Governance
of WGLN II
The Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation and Stanford University
have appointed a Board to govern WGLN II. Stanford Professor H. Craig
Heller has been appointed Chair of the Board, which also consists
of the following members: Professor Arthur Bienenstock, Professor
John Etchemendy, and Professor Donald Kennedy of Stanford University,
and Dr. Hakan Mogren, Dr. Bjorn Svedberg and Mr. Johan Stålhand
of Sweden.
The
Board will:
- Set
policy for the operation of WGLN II at Stanford and in Sweden;

Appoint an impartial panel of faculty reviewers from Stanford
and Sweden each year to perform the technical review of proposals
submitted to WGLN II; and

Determine the final awards of grants for the collaborative faculty
research program.
